2025 TALES OF THE COCKTAIL COLLECTION FOR CAMPARI GROUP
Since 2003, we have worked with Campari Group yearly to create a unique collection of merch to be given to the most accomplished bartenders at the biggest trade event of the year, Tales of the Cocktail. We are so proud of the 2025 collection with a sports theme. We interpreted jerseys as if each brand was a sports team. This presented unique design and production challenges, but we're so pleased with the resulting quality and look of the collection. The Wild Turkey baseball jersey was a true standout and now is being sold at the distillery.
RITUAL ZERO PROOF
We were thrilled to be asked to design a collection for non alcoholic brand Ritual Zero Proof. They have a great, vivid palette as part of their visual identity, and we thought a colorblocking motif would showcase it well. We designed blankets, a first for us, intricately embroidered totes, track suits, sweatsuits, packable nylon bags, and my favorite—fanny packs to help them reach both industry folks and influencers.
COURVOISIER - LUNAR NEW YEAR
We were asked to design a suite of goods to celebrate Lunar New Year with Courvoisier. These were point of sale gifts. We came up with a logo design for the year of the horse and a collection utilizing it including paper lanterns, keychains, customary red money envelopes, custom gift bags and tissue, and my absolute favorite -- gold foil printed calendars! Additionally, we designed store window signage—a first!
BEHIND THE BARREL
Behind the Barrel is an educational bourbon experience sponsored by Wild Turkey & Wilderness Trail. Nearly 100 bartenders are invited to Kentucky yearly to learn about the science of bourbon production and foster relationships in the bartender community. We were charged with creating unique swag that the group would love. The suite of pieces included hats, bandanas, a fanny pack, and a backpack replete with patches harkening to boy/girl scout sashes.
APEROL PICKLEBALL SET
We had the fun job of pitching a large holiday gift item to Aperol. The trick was to come up with something that celebrated the joy of the brand, appealed to folks of all stripes, in all parts of the country, and was useful. We were thrilled that the brand chose these pickleball sets! We'd never made something like it before, and we came up with a suite of items in this custom box: paddles, balls, a water bottle, and a visor replete with crossed Spritzes. We designed each piece and worked with multiple factories to have each fabricated, brought them to our studio, kitted each set to perfection, and shipped them out. Truly a soup to nuts project.
SOUND UNSEEN
Sound Unseen is a very special film festival that showcases music films. In 2024, they celebrated their 25th Anniversary, and Love & Victory was thrilled to do a little pro bono project of anniversary branding and merch to celebrate. We designed a special silkscreen poster that was printed by the amazing Kayrock Screenprinting in Brooklyn and t-shirts printed by Dogwig Printing. Scroll through for some initial designs we came up with and where we ended up!
COURVOISIER
We were asked to create gifts for liquor store owners from newly relaunched brand Courvoisier for this project. This was a little different than gifts for bartenders... We wanted them to be useful and a bit more understated. So we designed this trio of cold weather items: a barn jacket, a puffer vest, and a trio of branded socks. In addition to creating each piece, we worked with the brand to coordinate getting these out into the world via an online platform where recipients could "shop" for their item of choice. We saw the project through by fulfilling the orders with beautiful, branded packaging.
BROOKLYN MUSEUM ORNAMENT
When the Brooklyn Museum came to us with little time to spare to make a holiday ornament in the likeness of their historic 200 year old establishment on its anniversary, we said the only thing we could. YES! We're so pleased with how the hand-blown, hand-painted glass ornament shows off their new brand colors and love how their illustration of the building came to life on the packaging.
CAMPARI DAY OF SERVICE
For several years now, we've been working on Campari Day of Service, an event where bartenders from around the country organize local volunteer projects on a day in September, oraganized around Campari and Imbibe's Negroni Week. We change up the logo each year to make it fun and create a piece of swag and a t-shirt that is gifted to each participant. We like to create something that they can wear and that is useful on the day of the event. So far, we've done bandanas, socks, and fanny packs! We especially love playing a role in these philanthropic efforts for brands.
CAMPARI
TRADE MAILERS
Working with Campari Community’s Anne Louise Marquis, these projects celebrate what Love & Victory does best: ideation, iteration, and execution. From brainstorm to fulfillment, we work to make sure these bartender and industry mailers hit all the notes — coveted, creative swag for the hospitality community, highlighting some of the best brands around.
SAKE ONO
We've had the pleasure of working with newer sake brand, Sake Ono, in the recent past. Their branding is gorgeous and bold and has translated so beautifully into wearables like hats and totes that are so fashionable in addition to advertising the brand. We have a few more pieces up our sleeve for our work with Sake Ono, so stay tuned.
BRIC ARTS: CELEBRATE BROOKLYN!
Bric Arts brings Celebrate Brooklyn! to Prospect Park each summer, hosting dozens of outdoor concerts, many of them free to the public. This program is beloved, and we were thrilled to be able to create posters and merch for the series that’s in our backyard.
SONIC MUD
Our dear friends Julia Elsas (a ceramicist) and Kenny Wollesen (a renowned drummer in the NY avant garde scene) have been performing along with some of the best in the biz as an ensemble known as Sonic Mud. Using instruments handmade by Julia, they have performed all over the city. We were lucky enough to make them a website and do some packaging design all inspired by Julia’s work.
BITTERS LAB
Packaging proposes the best kind of challenge. It needs to be eye catching from afar, needs to clearly speak to what the product is while standing apart from the pack. We love our ongoing collaborations with Salt Lake City brand, Bitters Lab. Their product is top notch, and we have worked with them to redesign their collection packaging to better communicate what’s inside and create special edition packaging for their collaborations with brands like Uncle Nearest.
CLIENT PINS
After the success of our own Negroni pin design, we have been hired by dozens of brands to create enamel pins celebrating their products. Worn by bartenders around the globe on aprons, jackets, and backpacks, our enamel pins are the highest quality with the keenest eye to the tiniest design details (literally).
FACTORY 25
Factory 25 is a Brooklyn-based indie film distribution company that brings conceptually provocative films to audiences. We’ve been lucky enough to work with them on developing the look and feel of their monthly Blu-ray releases with indie darlings Vinegar Syndrome — illustrating unique, collectible slipcases for each. We also work on merch for their film releases like Kickstarter rewards for the restoration of 1978 cult classic Skateboard: The Movie.
CAMPARI ACADEMY
We were tasked with creating items for the new Campari Academy at Campari’s NYC headquarters — items that could be given away to folks who attend educational events that are not only cool but nod to the academic nature of the Academy. We came up with a periodic table of the “elements” of a cocktail.
LEYENDA
One of the best cocktail bars in NYC, Leyenda was founded by industry legends Julie Reiner and Ivy Mix. We had the fun task of reinterpreting their iconic Madonna in a pop art style and helping to redesign their menus.
WFMU
We’ve done a host of pro bono work in the past few years for our favorite independent radio station, NY/NJ’s WFMU. From t-shirt and tote designs for the station at large to individual DJ premiums and even custom woven radio tower socks, we are so happy to support the folks that bring us the best in freeform radio!
KRISTIN FLAMMIO & THE PRETTY BITCHIN’
We raised our hands enthusiastically when our friends who in this bangin’ pop group needed band merch. The Pretty Bitchin’ is probably the most fun act we know of, and we knew Kristin would come to the table with some amazing ideas… She didn’t disappoint, did she?
TURNTABLE LAB
We were thrilled when NYC’s iconic audiophile supply shop Turntable Lab picked up our L&V branded 45 adaptors, and we were even moreso when they wanted to create some custom designs of their own. Let’s just say Meg was so excited about the subway token design that she dropped everything when she got the email and had it done in the next hour or two. Dream collab.
