Cause, you know, this election season could really drive you to drink. I literally started practicing yoga again (after... ahem... 6 years) in the hopes of countering not only my normal life stress but the added election stress. Doesn't it just feel so nuts right now?
So go make a cocktail, and why not smash something in the process? Get out your muddler (or the end of a wooden spoon or whatever you've got), and do a little damage.

2 oz gin
1/2 oz hibiscus tea syrup (recipe)
1/4 oz lemon juice
mint sprig for garnish
Muddle blackberries & hibiscus syrup in bottom of shaker. Add gin, lemon juice, and ice. Shake and strain over crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprig.
