Vietnamese Bloody Mary

I'm so excited to start testing out all sorts of new Bloody Mary (Marias, Caesars, bring 'em on!) recipes in our new gold printed Bloody Mary Glasses

Here's a fun variation that incorporates Vietnamese flavors — Sriracha, brown sugar, lime, fish sauce. Yup, fish sauce. And it's garnished with fresh herbs which smell awesome as you're drinking it and a quick pickled carrot.

It hits all the notes: spicy, sweet, tangy. Is it the weekend yet?

Vietnamese Bloody Mary Recipe

6 oz tomato juice
3 oz vodka
3/4 oz lime juice
1/2 tsp Sriracha
1 tsp brown sugar syrup *
1/2 tsp fish sauce
1/2 tsp soy sauce
Garnish:
fresh basil & mint
pickled carrot
lime wedge

Combine all ingredients in mixing glass, stir, and pour over ice in a pint glass. Garnish with basil, mint, pickled carrot, and lime wedge.

* For brown sugar syrup, combine equal parts brown sugar and water and let sit overnight. Shake well. If you're pressed for time, you can heat the mixture on the stove to dissolve.
