I have big things to cheers to today! It's my baby's 6th birthday! Happy Birthday, sweet Louella Mae! She's so brilliantly low key. She wants to spend the afternoon together and have pizza at the best place in the 'hood for dinner. And on Saturday, she's invited a friend over for pizza, s'mores, and a movie.
So... today, we mixed up this refresher — a nice low A.B.V. drink — perfect for an afternoon in the yard (which is where you can find me from March through October). It's super easy, a notch up from a Campari Soda, but make sure to prep your grapefruit sugar the day before. The smell of it is amazing! The drink sounds bitter-on-bitter with the Campari and grapefruit, but the sugar tempers it nicely.
PS: The "mine" glass is from our Mine Decanter Set.
