3 Infusions to Vamp-Up Your Gin & Tonic

The summer heat has surely set in, and we're kicking back with some no-fuss summer cocktails. Everyone loves a summer staple Gin & Tonic, and one with a little oomph is that much more fun. Here are 3 easy ways to add a little summer flavor to yours.

Make-ahead infusions are easy for entertaining, and they look awesome. Plus, you really can't mess them up. You can taste as you go to see how things are coming along. Mint not minty enough? Stick the end of a wooden spoon in there and muddle a little. Strawberries not sweet enough? Add a little sugar. Rules be damned. That's my kind of preparation.

INFUSED GIN

Fill your Love & Victory Liquor Decanter (or a glass jar) with:
1/2 cup thinly sliced cucumber OR
1/2 cup sliced Strawberries OR
1/2 cup Mint Leaves

Add 12 oz of the Gin of your choosing. Let sit for 48-72 hours, stirring twice a day. Taste as you go to see if the flavor's strong enough. When it is, strain the gin. Use for Gin & Tonics or another favorite gin cocktail. Add a fresh slice (or sprig) of the infuser to your cocktail to garnish.
