Where I'm drinking: Atlanta with Morganne Lee of H&F Bottle Shop

We cross paths with the coolest women around the country, usually with passions similar to our own: food & drink. So we've rounded up some of them—from various places in the states—to share where they spend their time in our 3 major drinking categories: Happy Hour, Late Night, and... Hair of the Dog.

For our first installment, Morganne Lee from Atlanta's coolest liquor shop, H&F Bottle Shop (even more awesome for selling our glassware!), tells us about her favorite Atlanta haunts.

Happy Hour

After work I lean toward someplace well lit with friendly faces, so typically that means H. Harper Station. They have a killer whiskey selection as well as punch bowls made to share. It's hospitable and charming, and the head bartender, Ben, is a wealth of potable knowledge.

Late Night Drinks

Ok, real talk, I don't stay up late that often. I'm a little old lady in that way. But when I do rally, it's Octopus Bar, no question. Not only do they have classic cocktails made to perfection, their wine list is well-edited and food friendly. This works out well for me, because I can't go there and NOT get the Salt and Pepper Georgia Shrimp.

Hair of the Dog / Brunch

When I wake up after a night of over indulgence, all I want is beer and potatoes from The Porter Beer Bar. They have every beer you could ever think of wanting, along with housemade "lemon ginger-ade," which I could drink by the gallon. Pair that with their (aptly named) hangover hash followed by a long nap and I'm as good as new.
