We adapted this recipe from Death & Co.: Modern Classic Cocktails, a book born from one of our favorite NYC cocktail bars.
The Bee's Knees is a super crowd pleaser with the best name. What better way to show some love than to mix someone up a cocktail that tells them you think they're the bee's knees, no!? This drink is like a grown up version of lemonade with honey to sweeten it instead of sugar. Death & Co.'s version gets a sophisticated twist with the addition of lavender bitters, but the classic without is just as delicious. I still remember the first one I had at Niagara Bar in the East Village.
Today, we've served it up from my home bar in our Hometown Glasses with Austin hand-engraved on them.
