Who Loves L&V: Alex Golden Flannery

alex01.jpg

We love our customers. And we're nosey. And we know you are, too ;)  So we started a series profiling the ladies (& gents) who buy our products, so we could find out why they buy what they do. And while we were at it, we asked a few questions about things unrelated that inquiring minds want to know. Read on to find out about the lovely Alex's worst date ever. It's pretty bad.

Name?

Alexandra (Alex) Golden Flannery

Age?

41

Where do you live?

Brooklyn, NY

Occupation?

Stay at home Mom

Which product did you pick? Why?

Petite Mix & Match Triangle Charm in yellow gold with a black diamond.

I was initially drawn to the triangle, but all the charms are so cool I couldn't pick one! My husband decided we should research the meanings behind each symbol to help us decide. A point up triangle can "represent a strong foundation or stability, as it is rooted to the ground through a solid base" We thought this was fitting since without me our family and home would go to shit. Just kidding :) (not really but prob can't say that) I like the idea of the necklace empowering me to feel grounded and reminding me that what I do is important.

What does your kid think of it?

My 4 year old son noticed it right away and said he thought the triangle was cool. Incidentally, a friend's 3 year old son also noticed it as well and thought it was cool because it "looks like a rocket ship"

How would you describe your style?

Casual, utilitarian, Brooklyn mom, not very feminine, just trendy enough

Whose style do you stalk?

My sister Cat. I love her effortless, cool, beachy style. She always looks great (even in sleep wear) and she makes it look so easy. She puts colors and patterns together that most people could not pull off. (currently she can be spotted wearing the L & V Elephant Charm!)

What’s your most treasured possession?

Coffee maker

Worst date?

I once endured a painfully long, boring brunch with a dude I met online only to have him forever seal his fate by laying his head in my lap after we ate... huh?

First crush?

I was boy crazy so hard to say....so many. John, Dean, Gabe...

Celeb was Michael Beck. Never heard of him? He played Sonny on Xanadu. (also starred in The Warriors)

What’s your ideal way to spend Valentine’s Day?

I would love to hire a private chef to come to my house and prepare a kick ass meal for me and my husband and a handful of low maintenance friends.

What's your favorite way to spend Saturday Morning?

My husband goes to pick up bagels so I don't have to cook. And then my husband takes my son out to play so I can have an uninterrupted shower.

Coffee or tea?

Coffee AND Tea...they both serve their purpose.
